Welcome to planDisney, Nicky, and thanks for trusting us with your planning questions. I'm a Florida resident and familiar with the
Annual Passholder program, so let's see how you can enjoy all the
Walt Disney World Resort magic with your sweet kiddos!
My first tip for the children's father is to
verify his Florida residency online at checkout when he purchases those Annual Passes. He should look for a link or pop-up window asking if he'd like to confirm residency, which is the most convenient way to take care of that. Then, when the kids visit a theme park for the first time, with him or with you, they should be able to cruise on in!
If he is unable to verify residency online, he would need to do that in person when he first visits with the kids. He can do that at any Guest Services window, but I recommend swinging by the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs before his first park visit. He'll need the proper documentation, and once they verify his residency, he and the children can head straight for a park entrance. Although I always tell guests to stop at
Gideon's Bakehouse for a half-pound cookie to celebrate their brand-new tickets!
Nicky, no matter the steps he's taken before your first visit with the kids, I'd recommend he give the
Annual Passholder line a quick call to ensure those Annual Passes are good to go. I want your visit to be as magical as possible, so getting those Donald Ducks in a row never hurts. And remember that you'll need
Theme Park Reservations to enter a park!
If you plan to visit soon, I hope you head to
Disney's Hollywood Studios for a goofy ride on
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. It's a wacky and fun attraction for the whole family and the only one featuring everyone's favorite mouse. So pack a virtual picnic and hop aboard!
Nicky, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and orange blossoms so you can enjoy all Walt Disney World Resort offers with your children. Please
stop by planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
