Hi Alyssa, and welcome back to planDisney. I’m beyond excited to see that you’ll be at Disney World during my favorite season, when the theme parks and resort hotels are covered in sparkling holiday decorations!
First, let’s talk about
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. If you purchase Multi Pass for
EPCOT and later decide you’d rather go to
Magic Kingdom, Hakuna Matata! You can change the theme park, date, and attraction selections pending availability.
To do this, open the
My Disney Experience app, go to ☰ in the lower right corner, and press Lightning Lane Passes. On the next screen, select the Lightning Lane Multi Pass day you’d like to change and press Modify. From there, you can choose the new park and attraction pre-selections. If the cost of the new Multi Pass is higher than your original one, you’ll be prompted to pay the difference in price.
If you have a ticket with
park hopper benefits, you can even use Lightning Lane Multi Pass in different parks. Let’s say you start the day at
Animal Kingdom and decide you want to hop to
Hollywood Studios in the afternoon. As soon as you scan into your first Lightning Lane entrance at Animal Kingdom, you can book another selection for an attraction at Hollywood Studios. At that time, you can also modify your other Lightning Lane selections to attractions at Hollywood Studios
For the best selection, I recommend purchasing Lightning Lane and making your pre-selections
as soon as your booking window opens. Disney resort hotel guests can start making reservations at 7 a.m. Eastern Time seven days before check-in for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can book three days before their visit (and guests with a date-based ticket can book for the total number of valid days on their ticket at that time).
Now, on to your seltzer drink!
Some Disney Resort hotels have Coca-Cola Freestyle machines in their quick-service dining locations, so that would be your best bet for seltzer water. You’re more likely to find the standard fountain soda dispensers inside the theme parks. Some of these have a little tab on the soda dispensers that’ll give you either water or seltzer/soda water. But, in my experience, it’s not consistent, so you might need a bit of luck to find what you’re looking for. I’ve also seen bottles of sparkling water sold at some quick-service dining locations at the resort hotels, and it's possible you might spot them in the parks too.
I’m wishing you a pixie-dusted visit to Disney World during the most magical time of the year! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
