    So excited 1st WDW trip, arriving 5/8/10 and our last day at Disney is the 13th when we will head to Sea World. Our children will be 5 and 7 and I was wondering what your thoughts on what parks we should go to when, and how much time is needed at each. TU

    Elizabeth,

    Here is what I would do, and I assume you have time for a park on the 8th. I also assume that you do not have Park Hopper options,and that you are staying in a Disney resort. If any of these are incorrect, write me back with comments, and we can work on a revised plan;

    • May 8 - Magic Kingdom
    • May 9 - Magic Kingdom
    • May 10 - Hollywood Studios
    • May 11 - Epcot
    • May 12 - Animal Kingdom
    • May 13 - Magic Kingdom
    I think that this is a pretty good ratio of park times, as there is so much for your kids to do in the Magic Kingdom. Plus, if you are staying in a Disney resort you are going to be able to take advantage of several Extra Magic Hours opportunities, increasing your in-park time and getting more rides and shows in.

    I welcome your follow-up questions! Write me back with what you have finalized on for a daily plan as well as food preferences and I can make dining recommendations too!

    Have a magical vacation!
