Hello!! We are so excited to be visiting Disneyworld this May for the first time! I am planning everything down to the "T"... I have a question on the dining plan plus.. If we check in on a Sunday at 3pm, will our dining plan begin that day?

    Hey there Virginia!

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation! You have picked a great time of year to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth!"  I have found that the planning of a Walt Disney World vacation can be almost as much fun as the vacation itself.

The answer to your question is yes!  Guests on the Disney Dining Plan can start using their meal and snack entitlements on the first day of their vacation package stay. My family has purchased the Disney Dining Plan many times in the past, and we have always been able to start redeeming our meal and snack entitlements right after check-in. I hope this information helps. Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions that may arise. Best wishes for a magical first trip, Virginia!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
