Hi! We are so excited about our upcoming trip to WDW. My 10 yo daughter is considered an Adult now but is a very light eater, we are not on the dining plan, will she be able to order off of the child's Menu at non-Buffet meals?

    Hi Jodie,

If you're not on the Disney Dining Plan, you can order anything you want from any part of the menu, regardless of age. My 60-something mother often orders from the children's menu to take advantage of the smaller portion sizes. And when my oldest daughter was eight, she really enjoyed new tastes and often ordered from the adult menu to have access to a broader range of flavors. A ten-year-old ordering from the kids' menu is quite common and no problem at all.

You are correct that she will be charged the adult price if you dine at a buffet (like Chef Mickey's) or family style (like Ohana) restaurant, but other than that, she will be charged only for what she orders.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
