We are very excited about our upcoming tickets for Disney’s Villains event! How does check in work for the event? Im wondering how it knows you are there for the event, so that we don’t accidentally use 1 day of our parks passes. Thanks!

Hi there, Lindsey! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

It is no secret that I am a massive fan of the Disney After Hours events! I literally jump at any opportunity to recommend this event series to any Guests that are interested! As someone that has visited Walt Disney World Resort many times over the years, I am constantly looking for new and unique ways to visit the parks. After attending Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park, I can wholeheartedly say that these events do just that! Due to the limited number of tickets sold for the Disney After Hours events, there were times in which I would find myself almost alone in sections of the park. This made for a pretty magical evening and some wonderful photo opportunities!

Similarly, the Disney Villains After Hours at Magic Kingdom park takes this concept and places a nefarious spin on it! Guests attending this event will have access to exclusive merchandise, an all-new stage show, rare Disney Villain interactions, and much more.

Guests with tickets to Disney Villains After Hours at Magic Kingdom may begin entering the park as early as 7:00 pm on the evening of their event. As long as you enter the park at or after this time, the ticketing system will not use one of your general admission days. Once you scan through the front gates at Magic Kingdom, you will be given a wristband that will notify Cast Members that you are attending the event. This will allow you to experience attractions and other exclusives once the event officially begins.

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
