Hi! We are excited for our upcoming cruise on the Fantasy! Our Stateroom is directly above the movie theater and we were wondering if it will be really noisy hearing the movies when we are trying to sleep. Thanks for your help!

Welcome aboard, Peter! I'm sure you must really be looking forward to setting sail on the Disney Fantasy! With so much to offer each and every guest on that ship, you're in for a very magical sailing, that's for sure!

While your stateroom location offers many positives, one of the drawbacks to being right above the Buena Vista Theatre is that, as you mentioned, there will be noise from the theatre below at night. From guests I've spoken with who have stayed on Deck Six just above the Buena Vista Theatre, I do understand that the quieter movies didn't create much, if any, noise for them in the staterooms above, but the loud action movies, like Pirates of the Caribbean, did cause some noise late at night in the staterooms directly overhead. Many guests who are noise sensitive have suggested playing quiet music from the iPod dock in your stateroom or even bringing a small fan for some white noise.

That being said, the Midship Deck Six location of your stateroom does offer many great advantages! You'll be close to both the Forward and Midship elevators and stairs, making it very easy to navigate around the ship without having to walk the length of the halls too often. If you have kids, you'll be only one level away from all the fun and excitement in the Youth Clubs on Deck Five. When we stay on Deck Six, the kids love that we can quickly get them to the Oceaneer Club or Lab just as their favorite activities are beginning. Plus, it's a quick and easy walk (or carry!) back to the stateroom with tired kiddos late at night after picking them up in the clubs.

I hope that helps as you continue to get excited about your cruise, Peter. Please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail on the Fantasy!
