I am excited to try Jungle Navigation Co , but am concerned that the menu might be too exotic for my DD16 and DD19. They aren't super picky but wont eat rice and like meat more plain than with a sauce. Can they make substitutions?

    Hi Angie,

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about dining at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. My husband and I enjoyed a meal last year there and I, too, had been a little nervous about stretching my comfort level with the food. I'm happy to tell you that we loved the experience and both enjoyed a delicious meal!

Cast Members love making magic happen for all of the Guests who visit the Walt Disney World Resort, so I'm sure they'll be happy to find something to please your princesses. I ordered the "Tastes like Chicken" Because it is!, but asked for my sauce on the side. I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to spice, and I wanted to be safe rather than sorry. The sauce had a delicious flavor, but it was just a bit too spicy for me, so my server brought me some sweet and sour sauce instead, and that was perfect for me. It ended up being one of my very favorite meals of our entire trip! Delicious, fun, unique...what more could you ask for?

Here's a tip for you: When you arrive, ask if the Butterfly Booth is available! If it isn't, I'd still encourage you to stroll around the restaurant a bit and enjoy all of the attention to detail within the design!

Please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip, Angie, and have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
