We're very excited that this trip our 1st time staying on site for a week and want to feel the "ENTIRE DISNEY EXPERIENCE". We are considering the Wilderness Lodge or Port Orleans maybe even the Caribbean beach which one would you choose?

    Elizabeth,

Great idea to go for the entire Disney experience by staying at a Disney resort.

I adore the Wilderness Lodge, and would select that one, hands down. But it is a Deluxe resort, while the other two are Moderates, so if it is out of your budget, then of the remaining two I would select Port Orleans.

While I love the new pool complex at the Caribbean Beach, I prefer the Port Orleans (Riverside or French Quarter)  because you can boat from there to Downtown Disney. This makes for some great convenience, as well as provides an evening escape that may be easier and less involved than returning to a theme park. The only exception would be if you had a budding pirate in your crew, in which case the Caribbean Beach might be the best choice, as it has tons of recent Pirate-themed touches.

But know this. Any of these would be a great experience, and a perfect way to immerse yourself 24/7 in the Walt Disney World atmosphere.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
