    Hi! I am so excited to be taking my mom to WDW at Christmas! We are staying at AKL, Savanna View! My question is when I am doing my on-line check-in, what should I request? My mom is active for her age, but I have heard this resort is HUGE. Thank you!

    Thank you so much for coming back to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about your visit to the most magical place on earth at the most magical time of year!

    Room choice at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a very personal choice, but I will be happy to give some suggestions. First of all, all of the Savanna View rooms all have absolutely gorgeous views! You will definitely not find a bad room in the bunch!

    That being said, there are definitely rooms that are farther away from transportation than others, so if that's important to you to be close to the lobby, I would definitely indicate that on your online check-in. I also liked being on a higher floor at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, so that would be something else to consider with online check-in. 

    One other item that the Walt Disney World Resort asks you to consider is if you would rather forego your other choices in exchange for early check-in. If you are the kind of family who would really like to get settled in early, this might be another option that you would want to choose.
