So excited to be taking our children (DS-8 and DD-6) on their first WDW vacay- if we get the DDP, do we count the 1st Sat night as a whole day? Can we carry over a QS for the last Sat morning or not? Thanks in advance, getting ready early for Oct 2012!

Hi, Andrea!  Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation! Your meals should be covered. Your Disney Dining Plan begins as soon as you check in and get your Key to the World card (room key, park tickets, and dining plan card).  The Disney Dining Plan entitlements do not expire until midnight on the checkout date of the package reservation.  So, you will be able to use them on your last day.  In fact, you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and/or snacks on your last day as long as you have the entitlement credits left on your Disney Dining Plan. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
