Hello! We are excited to be staying at a WDW Good Neighbor Hotel (Buena Vista Suites) from Feb 19-26, 2020! I see from previous posting that a free parking voucher may be available to us to use at Disney Parks. How do we get these vouchers as a GNH guest?

    Hello Debra!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in February. It is one of my favorite times to visit to escape the winter weather here in Indiana. There is something about the warm fresh air, vacation trees (that is what my kids call palm trees), and sunshine that gives me that boost to get through the rest of winter!

I have not heard of any type of voucher for free Disney Theme Park parking for those staying at Good Neighbor Hotels. It is possible this was part of a special offer or package deal that was offered in the past, but it is not a regular perk. Buena Vista Suites Orlando does offer complimentary on-site self-parking at the hotel itself, and scheduled shuttle service to the Walt Disney World Ticket & Transportation Center, as well as Disney Springs. I know that this hotel is recommended on the MouseSavers website, and they promote the free parking, but that refers to free self-parking at the hotel itself, since many hotels now charge a nightly parking fee. To be sure, I called and spoke with Buena Vista Suites and they confirmed that this is not something currently offered for their guests. I also spoke with one of our other Panelists, Anne Marie, who has personally stayed at that hotel and she confirms she did not receive included theme park parking.

This hotel is very close to the Walt Disney World Resort, so you may find that taking an Uber, Lyft, or taxi may cost less than parking at the theme parks, or you can use the resort’s complimentary shuttle to reach the Ticket & Transportation Center where you can hop a Monorail or bus to the theme parks.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions about your visit, Debra, we are always glad to help!
