    Hi! We are excited to sail with Disney during Hanukkah this year! Can you confirm that there will be a Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony each night of Hanukkah on board the Dream this year? Thanks!

    Welcome aboard planDisney! You and your family must be thrilled to celebrate Hanukkah with a Disney Cruise Line vacation! 

    I've learned from other Guests and Crew Members that, in the past, simple moments of menorah lighting (electric lights, not actual candles) have sometimes taken place near the Guest Services desk. I suggest stopping by Guests Services when you board to inquire. One way to ensure your family marks this special holiday together is to bring a menorah with battery or electric candles for your stateroom. Please note that candles with open flames are prohibited onboard. While religious services are not offered onboard, I'm sure your Rabbi can offer some tips for honoring your tradition while on vacation. 

    Disney Dream is my sentimental favorite ship, Sarah, so I'm glad you will enjoy your holiday aboard this lovely vessel. Be sure to take a spin down the AquaDuck! Here's an insider tip: sit in the back if you want an extra exhilarating splash of water during your ride!
