Very excited to be making our first trip to WDW in Oct/Nov. Staying at DBC for 11 nights. Am not sure how many days I should allocate to each park and if it would be wise to take a break from touring during the day. Also should I book all meals in advance?

Congratulations on your first of hopefully many more Walt Disney World Vacations, Victoria!  Disney's Beach Club Resort just happens to be my favorite Resort at Walt Disney World!  You are going to love the New-England style theming, close proximity to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Stormalong Bay, a three acre beachside water park. Depending on the ages of your children, I would recommend two days at Magic Kingdom, one or two days at Epcot, and one day at both Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. You may want to consider attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for a fun-filled and festive night of trick-or-treating, special themed parades and fireworks!  It is one of our favorite Special Events at Disney!  Since you will be enjoying an eleven night stay in the "Happiest Place on Earth," I would recommend taking at least two days off from touring the parks to enjoy your amazing Disney Resort, Downtown Disney, and some of the other fun recreational activities available at the Walt Disney World Resort.  We also enjoy on days that we do visit the parks heading back to our Disney Resort for a midday break/nap or afternoon swim and then reenter the parks in the evening!  I would definitely suggest that you go ahead and make Advanced Dining Reservations for table-service restaurants. You can begin making Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days prior to your arrival by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here. I hope this helps!  Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you regarding your Walt Disney World Vacation!  Best wishes for a Magical first trip, Victoria!
    Happy Planning,
