Hi there, Courtney! I am so happy you came back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
They may say that the
Disney Vacation Club is the Walt Disney World Resort's best-kept secret, but I really think it is the amazing fireworks viewing spots that are located outside of the parks! And Courtney, you have found a great one!
The beach at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a great place to relax and unwind. You will find plenty of beach loungers and umbrellas located in fresh sand. Your little ones can try their hand at crafting sand castles to rival Cinderella Castle while you sit back and unwind with a book and drink in hand. Courtney, while there is plenty of fun in the sun to be had, there is no swimming allowed.
As you mentioned, the beach at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a fantastic location to watch
Happily Ever After; however, make sure that you catch the
Electrical Water Pageant as well! The Electrical Water Pageant runs nightly, and is an original attraction dating back to the original opening of the Walt Disney World Resort!
If you are looking for some more fun in the wilderness during your wild stay, don't miss
Chip ‘N’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long! You can roast marshmallows on an open fire and sing along to some favorite tunes before settling in for a classic Disney movie under the stars.
I hope that this helped Courtney, and please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your magical vacation!
chEARs!
