We are excited to go with our extended family of more than 30 on a caribbean cruise with Disney soon. We have all found varying answers online and when calling Disney's help line regarding what time zone the ships itinerary follows. Trying to plan days.

Hello, and welcome aboard! We've traveled on a couple different Disney cruises with our extended family and find it to be the best vacation for multiple generations and large family groups. I hope you have the same magical experience that we have!

Disney's ships will be on the time of the port of origin. For example, out of Port Canaveral, the ship's time will be Eastern time. However, there may be an evening when you get a card waiting in your room that instructs you to turn your clocks back or forward overnight as you pass into a different area. If you have your watch set to the correct time when you board, and make any time adjustments the ship tells you, you'll be all set. The ship's time and the time in a destination port might not always be the same. Disney likes you to stay on ship's time, so just follow their instructions onboard.

I hope this information helps you plan for your trip. I promise you'll make amazing memories with your family on your Disney cruise!
    Happy sailing!
