    Hi! We are so excited for our first trip to Disney. We arrive next Friday, June 26th!!! We leave quite early and arrive at the Port Orleans Riverside around 1:30 pm. Any suggestions for tired travellers for our first day?

    Hey Kim! If you are not wanting to get started at the parks on your arrival day, I have a couple of suggestions for a low key afternoon.
    My first recommendation would be to check out Downtown Disney.  Get settled in your room and then you can take a bus to Downtown Disney, the atmosphere alone will get your entire group excited about the next day and what awaits them at the theme parks.  They have great shops and restaurants.  Then call it an early night and get ready for the real excitement.
    Another suggestion, how about an afternoon at the pool.  The resort pools are great fun and you guys might enjoy just relaxing before the madness begins.  We have tried both of these on our first days, and both were a hit.  Whichever you choose, I hope you have a magical first trip to WDW.
