    We are excited about our first DW trip next week! We have a reservation to Be Our Guest on a Friday at 5. I noticed our confirmation email said characters are not available at that time. Is that correct or is there a chance of seeing The Beast?

    Hi Elaina!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. When you visit Be Our Guest Restaurant, I must recommend you try the grey stuff, it's delicious!

    Your confirmation email will state this since Be Our Guest is not a true Character Dining Experience. Traditionally at a Character Dining, there are a handful of characters that will walk around, stop and have a chat with you at your table and all sorts of fun hi-jinx that usually ensue! At Be Our Guest, patrons of dinner at the Beast's Castle can sometimes spot him stalking around the castle and after their meal for a quick photo opportunity. This is not a guarantee and is always subject to change, but I think there is a fairly good chance you'll be able to meet him during your dinner. He usually makes the rounds approximately every half hour, so if he isn't there immediately don't fret.
