Hiya there, Allison! It's always nice to welcome another Jersey girl to
planDisney.
I have three kids and three grandkids, and some of my favorite trips are the ones where I've flown solo.
Walt Disney World has much to explore, and when you plan around what everyone else wants to do, you sometimes lose sight of the things you want to do. That's where those solo trips are absolutely blissful.
If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, I can tell you that I have never felt unsafe staying by myself. When I travel solo, I find hotels that have interior doors, but even at Disney's value resorts, which have exterior room doors, I've never been uncomfortable. There is a security gate coming into the resort, and there are safety protocols in place throughout Walt Disney World.
Disney World transportation helps me to feel a bit more secure in knowing I don't have to use a rideshare service on my own. It can be a bit stressful to get into a car with a total stranger, but there is so much access to Disney transportation, you can get anywhere you need to go on Disney property - from your resort to the parks, from the parks to other resorts, even from your resort to
Disney Springs.
Don't hesitate to use the Cast Members to ask questions. I find even when I am
dining solo, the cast members are always willing to answer planning questions or give me advice on things to see and do.
Allison, I hope this is the most magical, memorable vacation you've ever had!
Anna
