We are very excited for our first Disney cruise coming up on the Dream in May. In regards to the carry-on bags, can we have 2 for our family, or would a family only be allowed 1? I'd rather we have 2 small bags until our room is ready than 1 big one.

    Ahoy, Heather!
It's so much fun counting down to your enchanted voyage aboard the most magical cruise line on the high seas! In just a month's time you'll be experiencing all the magic and wonder offered only on a Disney Cruise Line vacation! I know it will be a vacation filled with pixie dust for your crew!
You can absolutely bring two small carry-on bags with you when you embark the ship. Carry-on luggage must be able to fit through the scanners so should measure no larger than 22 inches wide, 14 inches high and 9 inches deep. Staterooms are typically ready at 1:30 p.m., so you won't have to carry the bags with you for long. On our past cruises, we have always had our luggage by late afternoon (4:00-5:00 p.m). Don't forget to include important documents, medicines, bathing suits and sunscreen in your carry-ons. We always like to dive right into our splashtacular fun after we board! The pools will be open along with the AquaDuck, so it's the perfect time to take the plunge!
Thank you for stopping by with your question, Heather! Please let us know if we can assist you further with your cruise plans! It won't be long now before you are cruising with Captain Mickey!
    Have a magical day!
