Hi, I am so excited about going to Disney World in November that I am already planning for next winters trip. I wanted to go on a disney cruise. Do I need passport for everyone going on the cruise. I wanted to take the crusie at New York. Thanks

    Hi Jessica!
Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  I'm sure you are counting down the days until the magic begins!
In 2013, Disney Cruise Line will not be sailing from New York.  I'm sorry I don't have better news, but my fingers are crossed that Disney Cruise Line will return to New York in 2014.  2014 itineraries have not been released so it is a waiting game right now.  As for the passports, Disney Cruise Line does recommend passports for all Guests, but are not required for closed-loop cruises.  A closed-loop cruise means your sailing begins and ends in the same country.  If you were to sail out of NYC, birth certificates would be an acceptable form on identification.  This could change at any time so once you book your cruise, you will want to check the Passport Information on DisneyCruise.com for any updates.
I hope you have the most magical vacation this November!  Please stop back by the Moms Panel with any other WDW or cruise questions!
    Have a wonderful day!
