Hi Moms! We're so excited for our Dec cruise on the Wonder! So what do all the cool moms do with their Key to the World cards while on the ship - lanyard or purse? Sounds like this Key is pretty much all I need most of the time...is that correct? Than

    Ahoy, Meranda!

As a totally cool mom who currently has wild orchid hair, I recommend a small purse or wristlet. I truly despise having that heavy lanyard around my neck, so I will always opt for something besides that.

I am also a Disney Dooney & Bourke purse addict. So, I have a super-cute Disney Cruise Line barrel purse that I often use when we are roaming around the ship. It is the perfect size to hold my Key to the World (KTTW) card, a lipstick, a mirror, and my phone. Since the addition of the Disney Cruise Line App for smartphones, I am never without the phone!

When we head to the AquaDuck or Goofy's Pool, I stick the KTTW card into a lanyard (yes, I admit it). But, I don't wear the lanyard, I simply put it into my small tote bag that I take with me. This bag has our sunscreen and most importantly, our clothespins in it. Do you know how windy it gets up on those decks? Everything that is not nailed down is in danger of flying off into the ocean! The clothespins will keep your towels and your beach bag attached to your chair.

I hope this cool mom has helped a fellow cool mom figure out what to pack to carry your KTTW card (and possibly your phone). Please come back and visit us here again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask any more questions before you set sail.

Happy Cruising, Tracy V. (aka Wild Orchid)

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
