Hi! I am so excited about our 3 day cruise on the Dream July 11th. I want to reserve dinner at Palo, but I want to make sure that I don't miss out on any dinner shows. Is it possible for me to know the rotation, so I can choose the best night for dinner?

    Ahoy Shatari!
I hope the next month flies by so it will be your turn to set sail on the breathtaking Disney Dream!  You will be pampered and spoiled by the crew of Disney Cruise Line during your three-day Bahamian sailing on this state-of-the-art oceanliner!
Dining is one of my favorite cruise topics so I'll be glad to fill you in on some details about each evening onboard.  As for attire, the first night is cruise casual, the second night is pirate-themed, and the third night is the optional dress-up night.  You will rotate to the three main dining rooms- Royal Palace, Enchanted Garden and Animator's Palate during your sailing.  The only evening with a show at dinner is in Animator's Palate where you will experience a visit from Crush, the sea turtle!  You won't know your actual dining rotation until you check-in at the port.  You can call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to request a specific rotation so you won't miss Animator's Palate when you visit Palo. This request cannot be guaranteed, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Both Enchanted Garden and Royal Palace usually offer breakfast and lunch as well so you always visit those restaurants at other meal times if you miss one of them for Palo.
Another thing to note is that Palo does hold back some of their dining reservations for embarkation day so you can wait to see your rotation at the port and make your reservation first thing upon boarding.  The directions for booking will be on the front page of your first daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator.
It was great to hear from you, Shatari!  Please write back if you think of more questions before the big day arrives!
    Have a magical day!
