So excited to be cruising to the Bahamas! We were thinking of going to Atlantis while in Nassau and considering the dolphin interaction. I know the age goes down to 3 and our twins will have just turned 4, but do you think they will still be too young?

Welcome back, Nina! Before you know it, this fall will be here, and it will be time for your family to head out on the high seas with Captain Mickey and his crew! I'm excited for your family to experience the wonder of a sailing with Disney Cruise Line, and I'm glad you're considering checking out the beautiful Atlantis Resort in Nassau during your port stop there.

My daughter and I absolutely adored every moment of our dolphin swim adventure when we were in Nassau. She was a few years older than your children when we participated, so we chose the full dolphin swim, but for the shallow water dolphin interaction, your children will have a wonderful time. Since they won't be out in the deep waters, they can wade in and enjoy the chance to pet and interact with these beautiful creatures. If they are dolphin lovers to begin with, they will truly enjoy this experience! You know your children best, though, so if you think they are mature enough to listen to the instructions and be gentle with the dolphins, sign your whole family up! It will be an experience to remember forever!

Your family will also have lots of time after the dolphin interaction to wander the grounds of Atlantis, and even stroll through the unique replica of the ruins of the underwater city with the aquarium. We were just there a few months ago and loved the cave-like tunnels that lead guests throughout the aquarium. Your little ones would certainly love this! If you opt out of the dolphin adventure, do know that Disney offers a different trip that takes guests to explore Atlantis, but does not include the dolphins. You've got many options for your day in Nassau, Nina.

    Have fun planning!
