    So excited just booked my family trip for Sept. We usually stay at Carribean, this time splurged and booked the Poly (we've always wanted to stay there) We love the restaurants. Any thing special we should know being guests there? Thanks!!

    Stephanie,

    You will love the Polynesian!

    There are a few items you really want to take advantage of when you are staying there. Here are a few;

    Resort Activities: Make sure you grab the weekly schedule of activities. There are a lot of events that help you dive even more deeply into the resort, including storytelling, torch lighting ceremonies, campfire sing-a-longs and movies on the beach in the evenings. There are also lot of craft activities throughout the day in the Great Ceremonial House.

    Electric Water Pageant
    : Make sure you take in the show that was designed originally for this resort. It usually swings by at 9 pm.

    Rentals: While l like the surrey bikes, I would recommend you do a marina rental at the Polynesian. Think about taking a sea racer out onto the Seven Seas Lagoon, as well as the adjacent Bay Lake. You get such wonderful views of the resorts and of the Magic Kingdom.

    Fireworks from the Beach: At least one night you have to take in the Wishes Fireworks from the Polynesian beach. They pipe in the soundtrack from the park, and the vantage point is perfect, in that the show was designed to be seen from that exact direction!

    Room Location: If you have the choice, make sure your room does not face the parking areas. While the views are not bad, the sound from the nearby Speedway can make kid's afternoon naps problematic. Otherwise, I think you will find garden view rooms just fine.

    Resort Exploration: I think that simply wandering and exploring through this resort helps make the magic even more prevalent. The grounds are amazing, and frankly the Great Ceremonial House goes a long way as well to making you feel as if you have gone half way around the globe!

    Write me back if you have any other questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
