We are excited to be booked for a DCL in August 2013! For the port excursions, I am diabetic & noticed that some did not include lunch and no place to get lunch during the excursion. Is there a way to get a bagged lunch before we go on the excursion?

    Ahoy Annette!
Woo Hoo!  Planning a Disney Cruise is such an exciting time, and I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!  Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line does not provide meals for Guests going ashore, but I do have an idea that should work for you.  Since room service is available 24 hours a day, I would order items off the menu that can easily be thrown in a bag to take when you venture off the ship.  If you order it the night before, you can keep the items in your stateroom fridge until you are ready to leave.  I always carry a small bag with essential items on our Port Adventures so be sure to back one that would fit your lunch and snack items.  You might even consider bringing a small insulated lunch bag or some zip-lock bags too.  There is always plenty of food available onboard so just grab & go whenever you need too!
I hope my answer helps with your planning, Annette!  As you continue to prepare, please keep me posted on any other cruise questions you may have before your magical voyage begins!
    Have a wonderful day!
