Excited 4 our Aug WDW vaca 4 me,DH, 3DDs (12,10,8), staying at Poly. Will be at HS on 8/2, no fantasmic dinner pkg. What time do we need to line up for fantasmic? Worried about crowds and long lines. Is it worth it? Thanks and Luv the Moms Panel!

    Hi Margaret,

Thanks for the love. We are so glad we can help! My family absolutely loves Fantasmic and it is a never miss for us. In speaking to my Mom friends, I can say the consensus seems to be the same. The show is an amazing display of lights, lasers, music, fireworks and characters and I have yet to meet a guest that was disappointed. I definitely think it is a must do for your upcoming family trip!

The Fantasmic package is a great way to obtain a seat, but no worries if you weren't able to get a package as the theater is quite large. The best way to judge the time to line up for entrance, is by the crowds on that day. If the park is overly crowded you will want to be in line no later then ninety minutes before the show. If you are looking for front row seats, even earlier than that. The line forms just past the Beauty and the Beast stage and you can easily see how long it is getting and judge then when to get in line. Our typical wait time, without the package, is usually 60 to 90 minutes.

    Hope you enjoy the show!
