So excited &STRESSED! My 6 yr old son is VERY TALL. Emotionally he is a 4-5 yo. He is more than tall enough to ride EVERYTHING at 51" & growing he is the height of a 10 yo. What rides are good for kids who are taller that they should be?

    chEARs Sediena!

Thanks for swinging by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your son is the same age as my daughter, and I have four-year-old twin boys, so let’s plan your upcoming trip together!

You will be pleasantly surprised that most of the attractions at Walt Disney World don’t have height requirements and indeed are practically perfect for every age! Just because your son is tall doesn’t mean that he can’t enjoy all the fun that is designed for little ones in mind. My kiddos love all of the attractions in Fantasyland, and we always take a spin on Peter Pan’s Flight (because it’s my husband’s favorite!). Every time we visit the Park, my four-year-old twins insist on blasting to infinity and beyond at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and we love to finish out our day on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. All of the kiddos are tall enough to ride, and they love being on a “big kid” attraction!

I think another perfect place for your son is Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where he can play BIG with Woody and Pals! Slinky Dog Dash is now our family’s favorite attraction in all of the Parks, and Toy Story Mania is so.much.fun for all ages and sizes! Your son will have a fantastic time marching to the beat of his own drum with the Green Army Drum Corps on the way to a meal at Woody’s Lunch Box. To make lunch even more convenient, use the My Disney Experience app to mobile order ahead. I highly recommend the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich and the Chocolate -Hazelnut Lunch Box Tart (it’s got bacon!).

Sediena, if you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I know you and your son are going to have a toy-riffic time!
