    Are there any exceptions to the CA resident requirement? Can you make a reservation now for mid-June if you are not a CA resident with the expectation the park will open for all by then? Dad has Parkinson’s. We want to take him before it’s too late.

    There's no place better than The Happiest Place on Earth to make special memories with loved ones, is there? I can completely understand your desire to visit with your dad and hope you'll be able to soon!

    At this point in the phased reopening, Guests will need to confirm that they are California residents before purchasing tickets and making theme park reservations. As an out-of-state resident, you'll need to wait until the residency restriction is lifted before purchasing your tickets and making your plans. While we don't yet know when that will be, I'm wishing on a star for you that you won't have to wait too much longer. Please feel free to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements or pixie-dusted updates.

    In the meantime, I'd encourage you to bring a touch of Disney magic home to you and enjoy some #DisneyMagicMoments together with your Dad. There are all kinds of wonderful ways to celebrate the magic wherever you are, and I'm certain you could find something special that will make the two of you smile.
