Hi Tyrone! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
You're in for such a treat when you visit Walt Disney World Resort! Speaking of treats, have you seen the
Disney Eats Foodie Guide to Holiday Delights at Walt Disney World Parks? Just a few days ago this magnificent menu came out, and I've been drooling over some of its incredible items ever since! I was in the Parks last weekend and got to sample the Santa Mickey Mouse Cupcake from
Rosie's All-American Café - it was SO yummy! If you're headed to the Parks this holiday season you'll definitely want to check out the guide before you go!
If you and your family have chosen to add the
Park Hopper Option to your
Theme Park Tickets I have to say I think you've made a great decision. Park hopping gives you and your family the ability to visit multiple Theme Parks per day (even all four if you're up for it!) and allows you to visit Parks that may be at capacity when it comes to making
Theme Park Reservations for the morning. I also love the flexibility that you get with park hopping. If a hard-to-get dining reservation opens up at one of your preferred dining locations you know you can just "hop" over, even if it's a special location in a Theme Park.
Guests of Walt Disney World Resort need both a valid Theme Park Ticket and Theme Park Reservation to get into their first Park of the day. In order to "hop" to another Park anytime after 2 p.m. you'll need to make sure you scan into the Park with your Theme Park Reservation
first. As of right now, you do not need to make a Theme Park Reservation for any subsequent Park you plan to visit that day.
As long as it is after 2 p.m. you should be good to go with hopping from one Park to another. If any of the Parks should hit capacity and Park Hopping is unavailable, you will receive a push notification through the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
I hope you're able to experience all the
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks while you're visiting, Tyrone! You're certainly in for a magical and memorable vacation!
