What exactly happens at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party? I know certain rides are open but what else? We are coming for our first time to Disney this dec and plan to attend the party.

    Hi Kimberly!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite special events held at Magic Kingdom Park. My family and I attended the party last year, and we had a wonderful time.

As I am sure you know, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special event at Magic Kingdom Park that requires a separate ticket. The nice thing about these special events is that each night is capped to keep crowd levels lower. This allows Guests to enjoy the attractions in between the part entertainment. You and your family are sure to find plenty of holiday cheer when you attend.

Enjoying complimentary cookies and hot cocoa while watching Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade is one of my favorite parts of the Christmas Party. My children love the parade, especially seeing Santa at the end. In addition to this festive holiday parade, there are also meet-and-greet opportunities with some of your favorite Disney Characters, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas, and Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season. Visit the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party page on DisneyWorld.com for more details on the festivities.

Please let us know if we can assist you with any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
