    What would exactly happen if I were to delete my Disney account if I had my magicband + still linked to it?

    Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with your question about MagicBand+ at Disneyland Resort. I'm happy to help you understand how to utilize your Disney account and MagicBand+ for a seamless experience at the Disneyland Resort theme parks!

    Hugo, MagicBand+ adds a new element of pixie dust to how Guests experience The Happiest Place on Earth through special interactions with their surroundings, touchless access for entering the theme parks, Disney PhotoPass image linking abilities, and more! Before a Guest visits the Disneyland Resort, they can link their MagicBand+ to their Disney account using the Disneyland Resort website or the Disneyland Resort mobile app. This way, any of a Guest's valid theme park admissions and theme park reservations will be linked to the MagicBand+ to allow entry into the theme parks. Hugo, I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who advised that deleting your Disney account would reverse this linking process and would delete any theme park admissions and theme park reservations associated with your account. Therefore, I strongly advise against deleting your Disney account.

    Did you know that you can deactivate and reactivate any MagicBand+ attached to your Disney account? My fellow panelist, Tony, recently provided another Guest with fantastic instructions on unlinking and re-linking a MagicBand+ to their Disney account in the Disneyland Resort mobile app. I encourage you to explore this option as opposed to deleting your Disney account altogether. If you encounter difficulties during this process, you can always reach out to the helpful Cast Members at the Guest Information phone line for further assistance.
