Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Molly!
It's great that you have sailed my way today. How exciting that you are just over a month away from setting out on your Disney Cruise Line vacation! The Disney Dream is an amazing ship and will give you plenty of opportunities to meet up with friends old and new in the adults exclusive entertainment area The District.
Yes!
Evolution is open on the evening of embarkation. The District comes alive so you can enjoy some time with friends away from the kids. It hosts family friendly classes and of course BINGO! (shake it up Betty!) throughout the day, but transforms like the butterfly it's modeled after to an adults only party at night.
If you enjoy dessert-like cocktails, try ordering the Parnassius Apollo. This creamy, chocolatey concoction is a great treat to kick off your vacation. I usually skip dessert to have this after dinner! After dancing and catching up with your friends, head over to
Skyline lounge to wind down and enjoy the views.
Are you looking for a place to meet up before the night's activities get into full swing? The
Cove Café near the Quite Cove Pool is a great quiet space to hide away for a meet up with dear friends to kick off your cruise. Sit inside out of the sun to catch up and then head out to the pool to dip your feet in with a nice drink while you make plans for the rest of your vacation.
Enjoy your shrinking countdown and the time together with your fellow cruise mates. Bon voyage and happy sailing! Angie
