Hi everyone. Quick question for anyone who stayed at WL. We booked a woods view room, however, I am afraid of late night noise from the restaurants and lobby. Which floor/area of the hotel whould you recommend I ask for when I register on line? Thanks!

    Hi Amy,

My husband loves the Wilderness Lodge as it is his favorite resort. I love the Wilderness Lodge because you feel like you are in the Pacific Northwest and not Florida. The pool is a family favorite as it starts in the lobby and flows all the way out to a geyser!

When I stayed at the resort, I was in the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) area of the resort away from the restaurant and lobby. However, my parents stayed in the wing right off of the lobby, and I could not hear the noise when I went to visit them at night.

You can call the resort ten days prior to check in and ask for the cast member in charge of room assignments for a room away from the lobby. The cast members will have a better idea of room availability as your check in date approaches.

While you are at the resort, enjoy a meal at my favorite restaurant, Whispering Canyon Cafe, as it is a real fun adventure in dining!

    Enjoy!
