Hey there, hi there, ho there Kimberly! You're as welcome as can be at planDisney! Thanks for letting me help answer some of your questions about your upcoming Disney vacation.
I love that you've got a magical countdown in the works for 2026. Woo hooo!
Spring at Walt Disney World is an absolutely delightful time to visit. It also means you'll get to enjoy my favorite festival at EPCOT, the International Flower & Garden. The foodie in me savors all the specialty treats and drinks available at the festival booths. But it's the lovely character topiaries that truly capture my heart!
Sounds like you will have a
Disney Dining Plan included with your Disney vacation package. Excellent choice! You will want to start by making sure you've got your reservation linked to your
My Disney Experience account. On check-in day, all of your dining plan credits will automatically be loaded into your My Disney account. These credits are not specifically assigned to each guest on the reservation. So for instance if you are staying 3 nights, and have 4 guests included on your reservation... you will see a total of 12 Table Service credits, 12 Quick-Service credits, and 12 snack credits available. These dining plan credits will remain valid and available for use until midnight on your check out day, and you can use them in any order that you choose.
When you go to pay for your meal or snack, all that is needed to access your dining credits is to tap one guest's MagicBand, Key to the World card (available at your resort's front desk), or
MobileMagic on a phone to help the Cast Member find your My Disney account reservation. They'll also provide you a receipt showing the credits used, and remaining credit balance.
MagicBands can be fun to wear and are handy for so many things! They can be used for gaining entry to the parks, opening your resort room door, tapping in to any
Lightning Lane passes you may have, charging Disney purchases, or claiming Dining Plan credits. At check-in, you can designate which guests have charging privileges. So that's one form of everyone in your party having their own "resort ID". However, if you manage your party's plans in the
My Disney Experience app, you can see and access everyone's tickets and reservations. So if you just want to have one designated person manage that for everyone, that also works.
Don't forget to make some
advance dining reservations when your booking window opens up, 60 days prior to arrival.
I hope that helps answer your question, Kimberly, and that you have a wonderful time at Disney World! If you have any other questions or would like any dining recommendations, please send me another
message at planDisney. I'd love to sprinkle some pixie-dust on your vacation!
Have a magical day,
Tami
