Hi Deana!
I’m so glad you are looking ahead and planning out your
Advance Dining Reservations! Particularly if you have a large group, securing reservations can be a bit more challenging right now. But it sounds like you have already been doing some smart planning!
Yes, even if you are all linked on
My Disney Experience, or even staying in the same room, each account holder can book a separate Advance Dining Reservation. If you will be traveling with a party larger than 6, this is exactly what you should plan on doing. We just returned from a visit as a party of 11 and both my husband and I booked tables so that we could accommodate the entire group. You’ll want to try to get your reservations as close as possible, but no more than 15 minutes apart.
On the day of your reservation, visit the restaurant podium early and let them know you are a large party dining together. While there are no guarantees, Cast Members will do their best to seat you near each other. We were usually given a large table for our party, and on one occasion we had tables near each other.
When your 60-day dining window opens, have a plan, and a list of desired locations and times. I recommend searching for a specific time like 5 PM, rather than using the option for “Dinner” as I find requesting a specific time shows me more options in that range when trying to snag multiple tables.
I hope this helps, Deana! If you need any restaurant recommendations or more tips or tricks on traveling with large parties, please let me know! We are here to help!
Have a Magical Day!
