Heigh-Ho Samantha,
I hEAR YA!!!! I was missing Walt Disney World, in my life. And I was lucky enough to travel HOME, this past October for my daughter’s 18th birthday and in November, to visit with some of my DisneySisters.
Making the decision to travel is a personal choice and only you can decide what makes you feel safe. What I can tell you is, after visiting Walt Disney World twice, they have gone above and beyond to make sure Guests feel at ease and are taking many precautions to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
With the guidance of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, plus other government agencies, Walt Disney World has made a conscious and monumental attempt to enhance cleaning, promote physical distancing and reduce contact for both Cast Members and Guests. The
“Know Before You Go” highlights detailed information for Guests about what to expect when they are visiting and what is being done while they visit, along with tips for your stay. More detailed information, in regards too, cleaning, distancing, reduced contact, face coverings, temperature screening, staying at a Disney Resort, visiting Disney Springs, plus much more can be accessed through this page. The Disney Parks Blog wrote a very detailed post,
Disney Parks Commitment to Health & Safety Measures, which gives Guests a look at the efforts being made to Welcome them Home. And while I can’t be certain, in regards to air filters in the buildings, I can say I felt very safe and I would happily return again.
It felt good to come Home but it felt even better to see Guests and Cast Members unified and working together to make sure we all could experience the Disney Magic safely. I do hope the above information helps and Walt Disney World will happily await your return.
