    Hi everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to make the most of my upcoming 'day at Disney' with my 9 month old son. We will be visiting Magic Kingdom in May as part of a cruise excursion so ill unfortunately have very limited time in the park. Thanks!

    Hi Amie,

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My favorite park to visit with little ones is actually the Magic Kingdom, and there is a lot you will be able to experience in a day. Magic Kingdom Park is home to classic Disney attractions like "it's a small world" and Dumbo The Flying Elephant. During our family's most recent visit to the Magic Kingdom, we spent most of our time in Fantasyland and the recently expanded New Fantasyland. Storybook Circus is home to Dumbo The Flying Elephant and Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station, which is a great place to cool off on a warm spring day. My boys loved this area's colorful big-top tents and classic American circus feel. Pete's Silly Sideshow at Storybook Circus is a great place to meet popular Disney Characters.

    Most of the Slow Rides at the Magic Kingdom should be fine for your son, but use your best judgment. Cast Members at the ride entrances can answer any specific questions you have before boarding. If you are around Fantasyland during lunchtime, I would recommend a visit to Pinocchio Village Haus. This Quick Service dining option is a frequent stop during our family's visits. Our younger children enjoy watching the "it's a small world" boats as they set sail along the Seven Seaways Waterway.
