    Hello everyone, this will be our first trip in December to Disney. We're going the first week. Are both water parks open at that time? As well whats average temp for Orlando, and what are the average crowds like during his time at the parks?TY!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica! You are going to love visiting Walt Disney World in December when all of the parks and resorts are beautifully decorated for the holiday season!  The independent website allears.net features a Historic Attendance Levels Chart and categorizes early December as "lowest attendance." I have visited myself in early December several times now and found the crowds to be minimal. The average high temperature for Orlando in December is traditionally in the low 70s, while the average low temperature is usually in the low 50s. According to the official Disney Parks Calendar online, only Disney's Blizzard Beach is scheduled to be open during your visit. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is scheduled to be closed from October 27, 2013 to December 21, 2013. Please know that operating hours are subject to change. I hope this information helps!
