Hello everyone. This is going to be our first family trip to Walt Disney World. But instead of going to the magic Kingdom we are going to one of the water parks. Upon purchasing my tickets I would like to know do you have to pay for parking? And how much?

Hello there, Octavia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask an excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

Regardless of the season, it's always a great time to have some aquatic fun at Walt Disney World Resort! There are actually two amazing water parks on property: Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Both of these water parks offer thrilling attractions, Disney Character Meet and Greets, tasty treats, and relaxing areas to lounge in the Florida sun.

You'll be happy to hear that standard parking at both water parks in actually complimentary for all Guests! For me, this is a major perk of visiting the water parks during my own family vacations!

If you and your family are visiting during the summer months, I would also recommend looking into the H2O Glow Nights at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon! This limited-time event invites Guests to the ultimate glow party hosted by some of their favorite Toy Story friends. Guests will have the opportunity to dance the night away on the sandy beaches of the Surf Pool, experience some of the most popular attractions, and try special snacks exclusive to this event. Admission to this event is purchased separately from standard water park admission, though, so keep that in mind when planning your trip!

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
