    Hi everyone, My family is visiting Disney for the 3rd time this Feb 2013. My daughter age 8 has her heart set on dressing up as Rapunzel for our day at Magic Kingdom. However, I cant find a costume! She wears a size 14-16 HELP any suggestions?? Thank yo

    Hi, Mary!  As mom to a girl who has always been big for her age, I know how frustrating this can be!  Your very best bet is Google.  Seriously.  You'll find costumes this size on eBay, Amazon, and even etsy if you take some time to search.  Also, consider an adult size if you can't find this size in a girls' costume.  I often went up to an adult size for my daughter.

    If an official "Rapunzel" costume fails to materialize, I have seen a Rapunzel-ish costume listed as "tower maiden" costume on some sites.  It's very similar to the Disney version, and you can pick up a Rapunzel wig to go with it.

    Good luck in your search!  My fingers will be crossed that your beautiful princess gets to dress like her beautiful princess - and let's hope this helps convince some costume manufacturers that princesses come in all shapes and sizes!
