Hi everyone! Everytime we do Disney there is some new item of interest. I have used the photo pass before but never heard of the CD. Do I need to pre-purchase my photopass CD? Is it possible to have the ride photos added to my photo pass too.?

If you're a heavy PhotoPass user, then the photo CD is a great value. If you're going to purchase prints of more than about 10 of your PhotoPass pictures, then getting the CD makes the most sense financially. In answer to your question, no, you do not need to pre-purchase the CD. You're welcome to look at your photos online at home, see how many you like, and then decide whether to buy the CD. One thing to consider though is that you can often find discounts on the price of the CD if you buy it in advance. To find deals, try poking around the website mousesavers.com.

Currently, the only ride photos that can be added to your PhotoPass card are those taken on Test Track at Epcot. But as Moms Panelist Bret points out here, this feature is being scheduled for expansion. So in the next year or so you may be able to add photos from many of the rides to your PhotoPass card.

    Hope this helps.
