Hi everyone!! My children will be 16, 8, and 5 when we arrive to the magic in Nov. I would like for the younger ones to take a camera but I am not sure the best type to use. I would love some recommendations from the experts. Thanks so much!!

Hi, Alycia! Thanks for stopping by with your question. There are so many fantastic cameras geared towards smaller kids out there, but I am always hesitant to bring them into the parks as I worry about losing them. On several trips, I have given each of my daughters a disposable camera. This is a great way to let kids document the memories that they think are important. They get so excited when we develop the film as they get to relive the magic all over again! My husband and I love to sit down and compare what we think were the best memories and what was magical in their eyes. Many times, they capture moments that never really stuck out in my mind, but it sure made an impression on them! We ask them about certain scenes that we could not recall, and they can talk for an hour about it.

If you have not already, take a look at Memory Maker. This is a great way to make sure you come home with wonderful family pictures. As the family's chief photographer, many of our pictures from other vacations look as if my husband and kids had a great time ... while I was stuck behind the camera. While at Walt Disney World Resort, I leave the picture-taking to Disney's PhotoPass photographers and get to be a part of the memories with the rest of the family. You will even get on-ride photographs and videos in your Memory Maker package. There is a great advance purchase rate if you purchase Memory Maker at least three days before your vacation begins.

I hope you have a picture-perfect vacation, Alycia. Please stop by again if you have any other questions.
