Bright suns, Linda! We're so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel on your way to Batuu!
Whether your allegiance lies with the Resistance or the First Order, I know you'll be blown away by Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which uses trackless technology and multiple ride systems to surprise guests at every turn. To manage the popularity of the attraction, Walt Disney World has instituted a
Boarding Pass system so guests can wait in a virtual "queue" instead of physically waiting in line. Your entire traveling party needs to be scanned into
Disney's Hollywood Studios to receive the Boarding Passes via the
My Disney Experience app. Once the Park officially opens, you'll be able to add anyone that you manage on My Disney Experience through your
Family & Friends list (including children) to the virtual queue. Here's a Moms Panel tip: double-check the
Park Hours calendar as you get closer to your trip.
Make sure notifications are turned on for My Disney Experience, so you will be alerted if your Boarding Group is called to return. This alert will
only be sent to the person who initially joined the Boarding Group. If you decide to leave the Park in the meantime, you'll have up to two hours to return to the attraction. The members of the
Guest Experience Team are available throughout the Park to help; look for the kiosks with the blue umbrellas.
I hope you have a magical vacation, Linda! May the Force be with you!
