    Does every person in our party need Magic Band PIN's to pay for dining plan meals?

    Hi Theodore,

    This is a good question and the answer is yes! All Magic Bands that can be used to pay for a meal credit or having charging privileges need to have a pin. This protects you in case you lose the band and someone takes it and uses it. They will not be able to charge anything without the pin.

    This is similar to why you put a pin on a smartphone. You would not want anyone accessing your information on the phone.

    My daughters loved paying for meals when we were at the Walt Disney World Resorts in December. They actually "fought" to swipe their bands to pay.
