Is there ever a time when Thumper does meets at WDW? He has been my favorite character for my whole life and I’ve never seen him there. I’m going in March, maybe something for Easter time? I’m 21, this would literally be a dream come true!

Hi Brooke! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Watching Bambi is one of my absolute fondest childhood memories, and like you, I love Thumper's kindness and adorable humor. Brooke, while Thumper will occasionally make appearances at the Walt Disney World Resort, he is a very rare character. I believe that the last time he was available for a meet and greet was to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Bambi when he was greeting guests, along with Ms. Bunny, in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

In previous years, you were able to catch Thumper thumpin' down Main Street, U.S.A, with a few of his friends in a special pre-parade on Easter morning. Easter events have not yet been announced for 2020, so stay tuned to see what's coming!

Brooke, I see that you will be visiting during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Even if the real Thumper isn't available for a picture, in years past, Thumper has had his own topiary at the festival, which would make a great photo op, so make sure you stop by to check it out! Even if the Thumper topiary doesn't make an appearance this year, there is still so much to eat, see, and do!
I hope that you have a thumpin' good time on your upcoming vacation Brooke! Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your magical vacation!
