    Hi! Have you ever stayed at Port Orleans Riverside? What pools are there and is there a nice spot to sit by a pool and have a nice chat? Any good spots?

    Hi Ari!

    Disney's Port Orleans Resort--Riverside has quickly become one of my most favorite Disney resorts.  The southern charm, good dining options and great pools make POR a wonderful option for families who want to experience a great Disney resort on a budget!

    POR has one main themed pool, Ol' Man Island, and five (count 'em FIVE) quiet pools throughout the resort.  Two are located in the Magnolia Bend section, and three in the Alligator Bayou section.  Personally, I love sitting around the quiet pools chatting it up with friends, so I'd definitely recommend one of the quiet pools if you are going have gab fest (the quiet pool near buildings 16 and 17 in Alligator Bayou being my fave).  If you are looking to have a drink and laugh it up, I'd recommend stopping at the Muddy Rivers Pool Bar (open daily until 9:30 pm), near Ol' Man Island.  You have a great view of the main pool, a relaxed atmosphere, and libations for all.
