What events are happening in Jan 18 - 25, 2025 at WDW

    Hi Sam!

Welcome to planDisney! What a great week to visit the parks! Let’s get into all the details.

During your trip, there will be two After Hours events happening. One at Magic Kingdom on January 19, 2026, and another one at Epcot on January 22, 2026. There are limited tickets sold for these special ticketed events, so you have a good chance of experiencing lots of attractions with lower wait times. Plus, select snacks and bottled drinks are included in your ticket price.

If you’re a night owl and you’re hoping to experience the parks with fewer crowds, this would be the perfect option to look into! Tickets are on sale now and are pending availability.

Next up, if you’re staying at a deluxe Disney World resort, you’ll be able to enjoy Extended Evening Hours with regular park admission at Epcot on January 19, 2026, and at Magic Kingdom on January 21, 2026.

Of course, throughout the entire week of your visit, Festival of the Arts will be happening at Epcot, as well. This is one of my favorite festivals each year! You can find all that’s offered during the festival on Disney World’s website. I’d also keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as they usually share a foodie guide as the festival gets closer.

Over at ESPN Wide World of Sports, there are a few events happening that week, including cheer and dance competitions at the beginning of the week. Those events may bring some increased crowds, but you’ll likely feel the crowds get a little lighter by the end of the week.

For more details on park hours, parade and nighttime spectacular showtimes, and which attractions will be undergoing refurbishment while you’re visiting Disney World, check out the Hours & Events Calendar.

It’s also helpful to look at the Activities Schedule at your resort to see if anything catches your eye. Just search for your resort on the Disney World website, then click the Recreation tab under your resort's page. The Activities Schedule can often be viewed in that section.

I hope that gives you some guidance as you’re in your final couple of weeks before your trip! Have the best time! And let us know if any other questions pop up. We’re always happy to help!
