Is this event is extra, even of we are in the park the day that the event is being held? We don't want to pay extra for the event if our pass for the day can be used.

    Hi Pamela,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

First, for festivals and events held within the park, such as the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival that is going on right now, the heart and soul of the event within the World Showcase at Epcot is included with general admission.  There are a few tours that require an additional fee and you must reserve those online in advance.  The Garden Rocks Concert Series is included with your admission; you may get reserved seating for these shows with special dining packages that are booked separately.  There is additional seating available via a standby line for each show.  This is very similar to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival held each fall.

Second, there are additional events that do require a separate ticket, such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and the Early Morning Magic-Fantasyland and Early Morning Magic-Toy Story Land events.

Pamela, come back and see us again with your vacation planning questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
