can we use the evening extra magic hours on the day we check out?

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Yee!

Extra Magic Hours are one of the many benefits Guests receive when staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The great news is you are welcome to enjoy Extra Magic Hours in the morning or the evening of the day you check out of your hotel. Although all four theme parks have morning Extra Magic Hours, only Epcot and Magic Kingdom Park have evening Extra Magic Hours (however, this could change once Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios later this year).

After checking out, ask Bell Services to hang onto your bags while you hit the Parks. Typically, during evening Extra Magic Hours, a theme park remains open for resort Guests for two hours later than it is open to the general public, so feel free to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to your heart's content before blowing that Kiss Goodnight. Note that if you’ve been in another Park that day, you’ll need the Park Hopper feature on your admission ticket to enter. To see which Park is offering Extra Magic Hours during your stay, check the Park Hours calendar on the Walt Disney World website.

I'm glad you're thinking about how to maximize your time during your Walt Disney World stay, Yee! We'd love for you to come back and see us if you have any more planning questions!
